Web BrowsersThere are a number of web browsers available to users. Two of the most widely used are Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. But there are a few others we would like to bring to your attention. SafariFor Macintosh users, Safari offers outstanding performance and an excellent Web experience. Notably, complex pages open quickly in Safari. Apple's browser uses the advanced interface technologies underlying Mac OS X. Mozilla and FirefoxMozilla is an open-source web browser often recommended as a suitable - and faster - replacement for Internet Explorer. Among many features, Mozilla offers tabbed browsing, enabling users to open several pages with one click; Image Manager to manually block offensive images or speed up webpage rendering; and Popup Blocker. Due to its extremely user-friendly interface, solid stability, and exceptional speed, Firefox, another major product development from the Mozilla Project, is gaining quickly in popularity. |
