ABCs of First Aid

Grades 4–6

Course Description

Children learn and practice first aid for cuts, bruises, sprains and fractures. Several emergency situations are discussed and appropriate actions are demonstrated. Children learn how to put together a first-aid kit and talk about who needs to know first aid. Tornado safety, fire safety and first-aid treatment for burns are also addressed in the class. A brief video, interactive games and hands–on practice with simple first-aid procedures make this class a great learning experience.
